Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician/mechanic, preferably with dealership or service center experience.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, mechanical and electrical systems, and repair procedures.
  • ASE certification or manufacturer-specific certifications preferred (Hyundai experience a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certification or manufacturer-specific certifications preferred (Hyundai experience a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including Hyundai and other makes as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues, repairs, and recommendations.
  • Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology, repair techniques, and manufacturer updates.
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to meet productivity and quality goals.
