About The Position

The Hyundai Certified Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Hyundai vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Hyundai Certification (current and in good standing)
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or automotive training preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service information
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and computerized systems

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Hyundai vehicles following Hyundai factory procedures
• Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues
• Complete warranty and customer repairs efficiently and correctly
• Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and inspections
• Utilize Hyundai diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical resources
• Maintain detailed and accurate service records and repair documentation
• Ensure all work meets Hyundai quality standards and safety guidelines
• Stay current with Hyundai training, technical bulletins, and certification requirements
• Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and repair needs
