Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Hypersonic Technical SETA to support an innovative program fast-paced program developing advanced offensive and defensive hypersonic capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical understanding of multi-stage rocket systems, hypersonic vehicle dynamics, detection and tracking architectures, and integration across space, air, and terrestrial domains. The candidate in this role will have experience with missile systems, targeting networks, aerospace design, and cross-domain command and control. The successful candidate will assess technical and programmatic risks, evaluate performer progress, support architecture and modeling efforts, and provide technical integration across a diverse government and industry team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics , Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other related engineering or science disciplines.
  • 7- 15 years r elevant technical experience supporting missile systems, space systems, hypersonic , aerospace, C2 networks, or related DoD programs.
  • Experience with multi-stage rocket systems, endo-/exo-atmospheric flight, or hypersonic vehicle design principles.
  • Background in missile detection, tracking, targeting, or interceptor development.
  • Experience with space-based, airborne, or terrestrial sensor networks and targeting architectures.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with diverse technical teams.
  • Ability to support government SETA functions, including risk assessment, technical evaluations, and performance tracking.
  • Clearance: Secret Minimum/ Top Secret Preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree in a related engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Prior military background in: Navy NFO, aviator, weapons school, or missile employment experience.
  • Air Force Weapons School graduates.
  • Army Air Defense (Patriot / IBCS / C2) backgrounds.
  • Navy Surface Warfare Officers with Aegis/FCO/CSO/Weapons Officer experience.
  • Experience in space systems, satellites, communications networks, or missile architectures .
  • Familiarity with hypersonic offensive and defensive kill chains, tracking timelines, and sensor-to-shooter integration.
  • Systems engineering, modeling, simulation, or architecture experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-domain integration skills.
