Make a Difference The Hyperbaric Oxygen Technician LPN administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients of the Advanced Wound Center at Community Anderson under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. Participates as a member of the Care Team, providing clinic wound care services when appropriate, and is accountable to function as a team member to achieve positive patient outcomes identified in a patient's plan of care. Responsible for ensuring compliance for the program’s safety and recommends departmental safety policies/procedures as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required
  • Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required
  • Within three (3) months from hire Certifications/Licensures\: (The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) approved hyperbaric training course) this class expense is provided by Community Health Network.
