Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Training in one of the following medical professions required: Respiratory Therapy, Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technology
• Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
• 2 years of healthcare experience required
• BLS Certification Upon Hire required
• Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas required: CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Required or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Required or EMT - Emergency Medical Tech Emergency Medical Technician Required or CHT - Certification in Hyperbaric Technology Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Required or CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Surgical Technologist Required or Other CHT qualifying certification Required
• In addition to the above qualifying license, the successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 180 Days Required

Nice To Haves

• Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician.
• All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician/provider.
• Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.
