About The Position

JOB PURPOSE: Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Training in one of the following medical professions required: Respiratory Therapy, Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technology.
• Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in healthcare required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Current Georgia license or certification required in one of the following areas: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Emergency Medical Technician Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Other CHT qualifying certification

Nice To Haves

• Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.
