About The Position

Located in the heart of the Central Valley, Clovis Community Medical Center continues to expand rapidly as one of the region's most advanced and patient-focused hospitals. As a Hyperbaric Technician on our wound care and hyperbaric medicine team, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality care for patients with complex and chronic wounds. Administer Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to referred patients while ensuring all safety protocols and regulatory standards are met. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the hospital safety director to coordinate patient care and maintain operational safety within the hyperbaric program. Develop and implement departmental safety procedures, providing updates and recommendations to the hospital safety officer and environment of care committee. Serve as a technical resource to nurses, providers, and fellow team members, promoting excellence and adherence to best practices in wound and hyperbaric care. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE ) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One of the following is
  • EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Certification issued by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
  • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
  • LVN - Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License
  • RCP - State of California Respiratory Care Practitioner License

Nice To Haves

  • CHT - Certified Hyperbaric Technician preferred within 1 year of hire or transfer into position
