The Technician working in Hyperbaric is responsible for assisting the Medical Director, medical staff and registered nurses with the treatment and education of patients in an advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy center. The technician assists in the provision for safe and therapeutic organizational management of patient care to an assigned group of patients through utilization of established Nursing Practice, in adherence to the Standards of Practice and policies and procedures and in collaboration with other members of the health care team.

Requirements

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.
  • Certification as a Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) within 12 months of date of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One year clinical experience in Outpatient Wound Center and Hyperbaric oxygen therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Technician working in Hyperbaric is responsible for assisting the Medical Director, medical staff and registered nurses with the treatment and education of patients in an advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy center.
