About The Position

Join our team in Rochester as a full-time Hygienist! Our Hygienists serve as integral members of the clinical team in providing high quality and caring dentistry as well as an exceptional patient experience. Requirements

Dental Hygienist license
CPR/AED certification

Nice To Haves

Experience working with culturally diverse communities preferred
Proficiency in a second language preferred

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients
Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures
Perform initial and periodic examinations and assessments
Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist’s treatment plan
Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments.
Provide nutritional counseling
Administer nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patient
Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents
