About The Position

East Cobb Family Dentistry is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team! We are a well-established, patient-focused practice in a fantastic East Cobb location with a loyal and steady patient base.
This role supports a hygienist who works a dual-column schedule, so we’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays organized, and loves being part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

• Dental Assisting License required
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to stay organized in a dual-column hygiene schedule
• On the job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements.
• High school graduate or GED Equivalent.
• Team Player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Open Dental preferred
• Experience with iTero scanning preferred

Responsibilities

• Seat patients and prepare them for treatment
• Review and update health histories
• Take diagnostic x-rays (including panoramics and CBCTs)
• Assist during doctor exams
• Enter treatment into the system and review with patients
• Flip rooms efficiently between patients
• Support sterilization and maintain clinical flow
