Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hygiene Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with complex restorative and prosthodontic procedures, be proficient in digital workflows, and have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to patient comfort and quality care
Nice To Haves
- Dental Assistant certification, preferred.
- X-ray certification, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, procedures, and chairside support
- Complete chart notes as needed
- Take and process digital X-rays with accuracy and efficiency
- Support sterilization processes, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
- Assist Patient Care Coordinators by preparing treatment areas, gathering supplies, and optimizing patient flow
- Provide patient education and post-treatment instructions
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Help with front office tasks as needed, such as sending supporting notes and documents to referring offices
- Adapt to additional responsibilities as required to ensure smooth clinic operations
