About The Position
Dream Dental in Goodlettsville, Tennessee is growing and looking for a full-time Hygiene Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced assistant who enjoys working closely with hygienists and doctors in a well-established practice.
Requirements
- X-ray certification or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
- At least 1 year of experience as a dental or hygiene assistant
- Strong organization and multitasking skills
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
- On the job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements.
- High school graduate or GED Equivalent.
- Team Player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist hygienists while running two columns
- Take and process digital x-rays
- Assist doctors during exams
- Enter and review treatment plans
- Support patient flow and ensure an excellent patient experience
- Maintain clinical standards and infection control protocols
