About The Position
As a Hydrovac Operator at Badger, you will play a crucial role in safe excavation practices using advanced hydrovac equipment. This position requires you to operate high-pressure water and vacuum systems to perform precise digging, which is essential for uncovering utilities and supporting various construction projects. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be paramount as you navigate different working environments, including confined spaces. You will be part of a dedicated team that values safety and efficiency in all operations. In this role, you will be responsible for driving hydrovac trucks, which will constitute about 10-15% of your total work time. You will also participate in safety meetings, conduct routine inspections, and perform minor repairs on the hydrovac equipment. Preparing work areas by implementing safety measures and addressing potential hazards will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will be required to document and report all necessary paperwork accurately, ensuring compliance with Badger, Federal, State, and Customer regulations.
