About The Position

Woolpert is hiring a Stormwater / Hydrologic Designer to join our dynamic Energy & Water Utilities group. This position will be responsible for hydraulic modeling and stormwater design and permitting. Qualified candidates will be key in supporting projects within our Energy & Utilities practice.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software tools (such as HydroCAD)
• Competency drafting in Civil3D
• Comfort with state, federal, local, and municipal hydrologic design requirements
• Experience specifically with Ohio EPA and City of Columbus regulations would be a plus
• Willing to work collaboratively with existing team, including mentoring and cross-training
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field

Nice To Haves

• Some experience in ArcGIS Pro or other ESRI products

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert in performing hydrologic modeling
• Responsible for stormwater design and permitting, including site evaluation, stormwater control practice design, E&S controls/SWP3 support, existing design analysis and improvement, and the details of jurisdictional regulations.
