About The Position

The position involves setting up machines, which includes rolling hoses, prepping the machine, and assembling fittings. The candidate will operate and inspect machines and equipment, utilizing high-pressure techniques such as shotgun, molding, and lancing with water at pressures of 10,000, 20,000, and 40,000 psi. Responsibilities also include cleaning up in blast buildings, which involves shoveling and sweeping. The role requires assisting in the training program, both in the classroom and through direct training. The candidate will perform a variety of routine and non-routine tasks, ensuring the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as rain gear, silver gear, turtle gear, metatarsal boots, PAPR, and various types of gloves. While basic knowledge is preferred, it is not mandatory. The work environment can be at subzero temperatures, and while previous certification is not required, the certification process will be completed at the work location, taking between 1.5 to 6 months.
