Hydro-X CDL Operator at HydroExcavators, LLC involves operating the on-board hydro-vacuum system outside the truck for non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables.   • Operate the on-board hydro-vacuum system outside the truck.
  • Document all Company, Federal, State, and Customer documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with on-site customer representatives.
  • Lead and direct subordinate personnel in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
  • Maintain safety standards and practices.
  • Travel out of town and out of state for work as required.
  • Lift, push, and pull 60+ pounds and work with heavy equipment.
  • Work flexible hours.
  • CDL-A or CDL-B driver's license required with Tanker endorsement and no restrictions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • OSHA10 safety card certification required.
  • Up to date DOT Medical card.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency processes and procedures.
  • Manual transmission (10 & 18 speed) experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous hydrovac, vacuum truck, underground utility or similar field experience preferred.
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls.
