About The Position

Hydro-X CDL Operator at HydroExcavators, LLC involves operating the on-board hydro-vacuum system outside the truck for non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables. The role includes tank entry, cleaning and vacuuming, mobilization of equipment, truck maintenance, and participation in safety meetings. Heavy lifting and working at heights may be required.

Requirements

• CDL-A or CDL-B driver's license required with Tanker endorsement and no restrictions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA10 safety card certification required.
• Up to date DOT Medical card.
• Strong knowledge of emergency processes and procedures.
• Manual transmission (10 & 18 speed) experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hydrovac, vacuum truck, underground utility or similar field experience preferred.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls.

Responsibilities

• Operate the on-board hydro-vacuum system outside the truck.
• Document all Company, Federal, State, and Customer documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with on-site customer representatives.
• Lead and direct subordinate personnel in a safe and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and practices.
• Travel out of town and out of state for work as required.
• Lift, push, and pull 60+ pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Work flexible hours.
