About The Position

As a Night Shift Hydro Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our products within the oil and gas sector. The primary responsibilities include conducting hydrostatic tests on equipment and overseeing the final assembly of components, contributing to the overall safety and reliability of our products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience in hydrostatic testing and final assembly within the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to hydrostatic testing and final assembly processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Moving pipe with the forklift.
• Identifying the correct size pipe, bolts, and gaskets to use and then bolt everything together.
• Conduct hydrostatic tests on various equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Operate and maintain hydrostatic testing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance. Filling with water and adding a pump to add pressure to ensure the pipe is safe to use for the designed pressure.
• Inspect components for defects and ensure adherence to engineering specifications.
• Identify and report any non-conformities during testing and assembly processes.
• Maintain accurate records of hydrostatic tests, assembly processes, and quality control checks.
• Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and procedures during testing and assembly activities.
