About The Position

The Hydraulic Fracturing Equipment Operator performs basic procedures on site, performs rig up and rig down, maintains equipment, and operates sand silos as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year oilfield experience preferred
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions promptly and accurately
• Able to safely operate and maintain assigned equipment during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to perform duties safely in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines, which may include emergency response situations
• Must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift
• Must be physical able to occasionally lift or move up to 80 pounds

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform maintenance on the equipment used at each job location
• Connect and disconnect pump trucks from iron pipes
• Operate and maintain the fluid ends
• Operate sand silos to control the amount of sand loaded into the hopper as needed
• Perform pump maintenance such as packing pumps and swapping seats and valves
• Responsible for maintaining grease levels on equipment to prevent failure
• Perform basic rig up and rig down
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, Job Safety Analysis, and always utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned
