About The Position

The Conrad Company, a fast growing, award-winning family-owned business located in York, PA is seeking a full-time Hydraulic Bench Mechanic to join our Allied Hydraulic Service facility based out of Hallam, PA. The Hydraulic Bench Mechanic evaluates, repairs, tests and troubleshoots hydraulic components. This position relies on detailed instructions and hands on training to perform the functions of the job.

Requirements

Ability to work within a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and organization
Strong Math skills
Hand tools required
Ability to read measuring tools/gauges
Previous hydraulic experience with repair/troubleshooting required

Machining capabilities a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

All activities associated with the tear down, inspection, and repair of hydraulic components
Test and troubleshoot hydraulic components
Welding as required
Machining capabilities a plus, but not required
Work overtime as required to complete projects/assignments
Complete all training classes as assigned
Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when performing tasks
Perform other essential and related duties as assigned
