About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Work in Hydraulic Assembly department to obtaining production, quality, and safety goals in accordance with overall plant goals. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: · Safety: Assists in maintaining a safe and accident-free work environment, and reports any accidents or near misses through incident reporting sheet · Quality: Understands and maintains quality standards, in accordance with ISO: 9001 o Record Rework in ERP software · Job Duties: Understands the operation of the machinery and job tasks in Hydraulic Assembly, and perform tasks of any operator as required o Performs tasks of any operator as required, with the ability to troubleshoot o Enters information accurately into ERP software o Place notes for any indirect occurrences, by following indirect code process o Ensures the flow of production between shifts, communicating relevant information about production activities and potential issues to meet specific goals of each area o Maintains good housekeeping and organization of production areas, as aligned per Area Standards · Scrap: Brings up instances of elevated scrap scenarios during production runs o Provide appropriate feedback to QA Engineering and Materials group. o Follow MRB Process to ensure quality issues are captured o Fill out Material Scrap records, and turn into bin · Administrative: Accurately prepares paperwork, Inspection Records, and relays requests as required · Continuous Improvement: Provide input on process improvement opportunities and projects · Display professional conduct, treating others with respect, and good communication · Assist in other departments as needed, with willingness to train in multiple areas This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Requirements

  • Good communication skills, through computer entries and Staff feedback
  • Basic computer skills, including entering data regularly
  • Blueprint reading, with understanding of Bill of Materials
  • Willingness to change as needed
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of oversight, and achieving Productivity goals
  • Good attendance record
  • Ability to work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues
  • Work requires occasionally remaining stationary, typing, writing, lifting, stooping, and positioning self to reach or file.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Ability to Work effectively in Teams
  • Must have the ability to work on or around fast-moving equipment
  • Must successfully complete any training necessary to perform tasks
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division); must be able to understand scales of measurement
  • Must comply with all safety rules and regulations
  • Willingness and ability to function within, maintain, and respect an environment of confidentiality
  • Must comply with established work rules and applicable Ausco Products, LLC policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work overtime, including the occasional weekend
  • Participate in Production meetings

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Experience working within quality systems, with ISO 9001 experience a plus
  • High mechanical aptitude
