About The Position
The high school credit recovery summer school teacher provides support, instruction and guidance on a hybrid competency based credit recovery. Students will be completing standard-aligned assessments utilizing an online curriculum. The teacher will provide individualized guidance and instruction as needed to assist students in completing competency-based assessment thus demonstrating proficiency in course. The Hybrid teacher will combine an online curriculum with face-to-face instruction. The summer school teacher will establish effective rapport with students and their parents and assist students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others. The summer school teacher will collaborate with special education to develop appropriate accommodations and modifications for students based on their IEP.
