About The Position

HealthPro Heritage Pediatrics has a great full-time Speech Language Pathologist - SLP opportunity in Greenwood Village, CO! This spot works 40 hours/week, offers hourly rates of $36/hour - $43/hour based on experience, full benefits, free CEUs, and generous PTO accrual with this awesome W-2 position! We will also consider Clinical Fellows - CF for this position!

Requirements

• Graduate from an ASHA accredited Speech Therapy program
• Current State Speech Therapist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Current CPR certification
• Efficient problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills and time management skills
• Must keep best interest of the client and family at the forefront of all activities
• Collaborative nature

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pediatric therapy
• Familiarity with assistive technology for speech therapy

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients.
• Adheres to state requirements for supervision of SLPAs and Clinical Fellows to provide services with the highest care standards.
• Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment/ follow up programs.
• Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.
• Maintains patient records confidentially.
• Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner.
• Complies with the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulations.
