About The Position
As the Vice President of Product for our Automotive SaaS software company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio. This hybrid remote position requires candidates to be local to the South Los Angeles County area, as you will need to be in the office at least two days per week. Your primary responsibility will be to drive innovation and ensure that our product offerings align with our overarching business goals. You will be tasked with creating and communicating an abstracted model of the automotive industry, leveraging insights from other industries to establish a competitive differentiation in our product roadmap against key competitors. In this strategic leadership role, you will bring demonstrated expertise in product strategy, product management, and process improvement, alongside a strong understanding of software engineering principles. Your passion for mentoring and leading teams will be essential as you establish our product design process and philosophy, ensuring that we continue to build a competitive edge in the market. You will oversee a team of 12-13 professionals, focusing on performance measurement and optimization while managing stakeholder relationships effectively. This position also requires extensive travel, estimated at 25-50%, to maintain close contact with customers and OEMs, ensuring that our product development is closely aligned with market needs and customer expectations.
