Watermark Books & Café is excited to invite applications for the position of a Hybrid Graphic Designer. This creative professional will have the responsibility of developing engaging and innovative design solutions for our bookstore, café, and various promotional events. The right candidate should have a keen eye for design, a passion for books and literature, and a versatile skill set that encompasses both traditional and digital media.

Create compelling designs for marketing materials that includes in-store signage, direct mail, newsletters, social media content, website graphics and more.
Develop design concepts and present to stakeholders for approval.
Work with the marketing and events team to design promotional graphics, merchandise, event banners, and other design elements for author signings, book launches, and other café events.
Ensure that all designs meet brand standards and continuously enhance the brand by leveraging your own creative process.
Work with external printers and vendors to ensure materials are printed to specifications and deadlines.
Perform photo retouching and enhancements as necessary.
Stay updated on latest design trends and continuously bring fresh ideas to the team.

Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in a fast-paced retail or agency environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite, specifically Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
Experience with photo editing and multimedia presentation software.
Strong knowledge of digital and print design, with the ability to take a project from conceptualization to final production.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
A passion for literature and a deep understanding of Watermark's brand, mission, and community.
