About the position

The Community Outreach Director at Blue Balloon ABA is responsible for educating clinical stakeholders about the benefits of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and promoting the unique offerings of the Blue Balloon program. This role involves strategic communication with healthcare professionals and building relationships to enhance referral pathways for ABA and related services.

Responsibilities

• Shape and refine messaging and materials to communicate accurate clinical messages in New Jersey.
• Educate referral partners and healthcare professionals on the company's mission and service offerings, including the benefits of ABA.
• Develop and build relationships with referral sources to foster successful partnerships that generate qualified referrals.
• Build and execute a marketing plan for the territory, including targeting accounts and planning community outreach events.
• Grow and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified referrals for Blue Balloon services, utilizing CRM and tracking progress.

Requirements

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred.
• 1+ years' experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
• Community outreach or marketing experience.
• Detail orientation and strong organizational skills.
• Time management and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to cultivating a neurodiversity-affirming culture.
• A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.
