We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer- Optics Photonics to act as a technical leader working on the design and the benchmark of new products. This position offers hands-on experience, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to contribute to future product innovations.

  • Participate in discussions about product definition, technology, and architecture.
  • Explore new technologies and applications.
  • Identify the required equipment required for testing, benchmark, and development.
  • Benchmark market and create competitive specifications.
  • Board level design of opto-interface and high-speed digital data that utilizes advanced FPGA, Processors, and high-speed interconnect technologies.
  • Develop test plans and test scripts to bring up prototypes and models.
  • Bring up prototypes, debug and improve performance to meet specifications.
  • Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in physics, electrical engineering, or related fields.
  • 3 years of experience in industrial experience with opto-electronic and high-speed data systems.
  • Fundamental understanding of integrated photonics.
  • Fundamental understanding of high-speed data design.
  • High-speed simulation and analysis CAD tools.
  • Working with integrated photocopies or systems.
  • Working with test and measurement equipment in the relevant field.
  • Self-directed and proactive.
  • Effective communication.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Clear understanding of the importance of deadlines.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
