HVACR Service Technician
About The Position

We began dispatching HVAC techs in the Tampa Bay, FL area and in just a short time, ConServ’s reputation for customer service and technical expertise began to grow in GA, SC, NC, VA, TN, MS and AL. What you will be doing: Service commercial refrigeration equipment and systems that include walk-in coolers, freezers, small self-contained equipment, reach-ins, etc. Responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC and/or commercial refrigeration equipment Troubleshoots and repairs commercial HVAC, repair & maintenance on refrigeration equipment Test lines, components, and connections for leaks Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems and verify that repairs corrected malfunctions Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning condenser and evaporator coils using approved methods and chemicals Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers Communicates with customers regarding status of repair or maintenance being performed or needed on equipment Order and install replacement parts as needed
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs, climb a ladder and work in any weather condition
- Universal EPA Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and on-site drug test
- Safely operate and maintain company-provided vehicle
- Be available for after-hours service to customers
- Provide top-quality customer service
- Must provide own tools such as basic hand tools, gauges, and power tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a commercial HVAC setting, refrigeration equipment, ice machines, HVAC, hot foods, and preventative maintenance a bonus.
Responsibilities
