About The Position

Conserv Building Services LLC is actively seeking a seasoned HVAC Technician with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our growing team in the Charlotte market. We are looking for a highly skilled professional who takes pride in their workmanship, understands complex systems, and can operate independently in the field. ConServ Building Services was founded in 1991, as the service division of BCH Mechanical. We began dispatching HVAC techs in the Tampa Bay, FL area and in just a short time, ConServ’s reputation for customer service and technical expertise began to grow in GA, SC, NC, VA, TN, MS and AL. We are the number one choice for regional clients with multiple accounts, convenience stores, and those who prefer remote monitoring and control.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of HVAC field experience (commercial preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of installation practices, system design, and controls
  • Proven experience with refrigeration piping and brazing
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC systems independently
  • EPA Certification (required)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • OSHA Certification
  • Experience in clean rooms, air balancing, and commissioning

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation of HVAC equipment including RTUs, split systems, and specialty systems
  • Execute full system change-outs from demolition to final startup
  • Install and fabricate refrigeration piping systems (copper, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation)
  • Install, troubleshoot, and integrate HVAC controls (thermostats, VAV systems, BAS interfaces)
  • Perform system startup, commissioning, and performance verification
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues
  • Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and mechanical drawings
  • Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure project success
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
