Requirements

• Active member of the Steamfitters Local 420 Union.
• Adherence to the company Safety Program.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and repair of three-phase commercial HVAC equipment, RTUs, Heat Pumps, and Fans.
• A valid driver's license.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Nice To Haves

• Five (5) years of commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and minor repair of pumps, VFDs, Air Handling Units, and Rooftop units.

Responsibilities

• Commission, service, and maintain advanced commercial HVAC equipment.
• Consult with customers on comfort and building inefficiency.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Identify enhancements for customer systems reliability and sustainability.
• Provide labor and material quotes to support recommendations.
• Participate in weekend, night, and holiday call-out service on a rotating basis.
