We are immediately hiring a Major Project Travel Technician HVAC III - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• 7-10 years' experience working on commercial HVAC equipment, and/or oil free air (OFA) compressors, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience performance testing generators, HVAC, and oil free air equipment.
• Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meters, amp meters, and Hygrometers.
• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, valid driver's license.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or OFA systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Major Projects and in service centers.
• Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
• Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance.
