About The Position

We are seeking a skilled HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC systems and refrigeration, with the ability to install, maintain, and repair various types of equipment. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all HVAC and refrigeration systems operate efficiently and comply with relevant codes and regulations.

Requirements

• EPA Section 608 Certification (required by federal law in the U.S. to handle refrigerants).
• HVAC Technical Training/Degree (trade school diploma or associate degree in HVAC or mechanical engineering technology).
• State or Local HVAC License.
• 2-5 years of experience in the field.
• Experience with specific systems (commercial, split systems, VRF/VRV, heat pumps, etc.).
• Installation, maintenance, and repair skills of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and refrigeration issues.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with smart HVAC systems (smart thermostats, EKTOS, Trane, etc.).
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, thermostats, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC and refrigeration issues.
• Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients.
• Utilize digital tools for work orders and service apps.
