About The Position

We are seeking an HVAC Shop and Road Technician to join our temperature control group. This role involves performing customer and in-house service, ensuring that our HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively. The technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the service and repair of HVAC systems, particularly rooftop air conditioning units (RTUs).

Requirements

• EPA certification
• Valid driver's license
• Able to pass physical and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Fork lift and overhead crane operations
• Service and repair of RTU A/C units
• Read electrical schematic
• Brazing of refrigerant lines
• Refrigerant and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Maintain good customer relations
• Willing to work on-call schedule (40+ hours a week)
• Willing to work offshore
• Charge AC units / Recover refrigerant
• Understand subcool and superheat
• Understand the basic operation of AC systems
