About The Position

We are seeking a skilled HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, and refrigeration units. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer service. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting complex HVAC issues and ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations.

Requirements

• EPA Section 608 Certification (required by federal law in the U.S. to handle refrigerants).
• HVAC Technical Training/Degree (trade school diploma or associate degree in HVAC or mechanical engineering technology).
• State or Local HVAC License.
• 2-5 years of experience in the HVAC field.
• Experience with specific systems such as commercial, split systems, VRF/VRV, and heat pumps.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with smart HVAC systems (smart thermostats, EKTOS, Trane, etc.).
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, and ductwork.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and refrigeration issues to ensure efficient operation.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics related to HVAC systems.
• Provide excellent customer service through professional communication and reliability.
• Utilize digital tools for work orders and service applications.
