About The Position
The HVAC Technician position in Reedley, CA, is a full-time role that involves a variety of responsibilities centered around the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The technician will be expected to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of refrigeration principles and the ability to work with various types of air conditioning units. The technician will also perform routine maintenance to keep HVAC equipment in optimal condition and will be responsible for repairing or replacing defective parts as necessary. In addition to technical skills, the HVAC Technician must provide excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns and answering questions related to HVAC systems. The position requires adherence to safety procedures and regulations while working with HVAC systems, ensuring a safe working environment for both the technician and the customers. The technician will also be responsible for testing HVAC systems to confirm they are functioning properly and will need to install and connect these systems to electrical power sources as part of their duties. This role is crucial for maintaining the comfort and safety of residential and commercial spaces, and it requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality service. The technician will work primarily during the day shift, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of weekend work as needed.
