Highly skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) technician specializing in industrial settings, typically signifying a high level of expertise with complex and large-scale HVAC systems found in manufacturing plants, power plants, and other industrial facilities; essentially, a level 3 technician within the industrial HVAC field, capable of advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on intricate equipment like large air handling units. Advanced knowledge and skills: They possess a deep understanding of industrial HVAC systems, including complex controls, piping systems, and refrigerant management, often requiring specialized training and certifications. Complex troubleshooting: They can diagnose and resolve intricate problems with industrial HVAC systems, often involving multiple components and intricate interactions. Preventative maintenance: Beyond repairs, they perform extensive preventative maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Project management: May be involved in managing larger projects, including installation of new equipment, system upgrades, and modifications. Safety compliance: Due to the potential hazards in industrial settings, they must adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations.
