About The Position
As an HVAC Technician at Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining and repairing HVAC systems throughout the property. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all kitchen and main facility equipment, ensuring that all HVAC units are functioning optimally. You will be tasked with the repair, replacement, and maintenance of various types of HVAC units, which is essential for the smooth operation of our resort. In this position, you will work diligently to document and implement a preventative maintenance program, which is vital for minimizing downtime and ensuring that all systems are running efficiently. Your hands-on duties will involve repacking pumps and compressors, cleaning condensers, and replacing worn or defective parts. You will also be responsible for changing out air conditioning filters, ensuring that old filters are discarded properly and new filters are labeled before installation. Regular maintenance of air handler closets and cleaning of evaporator and condenser coils will also be part of your routine tasks. It is important to leave your work area in a neat and clean condition, reflecting the high standards of our resort.
