Basic Job Functions:The role of the Crane and Mobile Maintenance HVAC Technician includes but is not limited to maintaining the air conditioning systems for all plant mobile equipment and overhead traveling cranes; troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, ordering parts, preparing work orders, and ensuring safety is always the first concern while working at extreme heights and in a demanding environment. Ability to work rotating shift, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends and holidays.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Three years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC repair
Must be able to obtain required HVAC certifications within six months of position start date.

Nice To Haves

Welding and fabrication background
Overhead traveling crane maintenance experience
Mobile equipment maintenance experience
