Requirements

3–5 years of HVAC service experience across multiple system types.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
EPA certification required; additional state licensing a plus.
Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and travel statewide.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve manufacturing defects on newly installed residential HVAC systems, including heat pumps, boilers, steam boilers, and standard equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance visits and help develop a proactive maintenance program.
Commission new installations to ensure optimal system performance and provide feedback to improve processes.
Collaborate with partner company’s in-house technicians to service equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, clearly communicating findings and recommendations to clients and team.
Travel statewide to residential clients, with the flexibility to start and end your day from home using a company-provided vehicle equipped with GPS.
Maintain accurate service reports, documenting work completed, parts used, and follow-up recommendations.
Professionally engage with customers regarding projects, pricing, equipment, and optional upgrades.
Adhere to safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, local codes, and company policies.
