As an HVAC Technician, you will operate, maintain, and perform repairs on Heating Ventilation and Air Condition (HVAC), Chilled Water Systems, Air Handlers, Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Air Handler Units (AHU), Variable Air Volume (VAV) Systems, Fan Coil Units (FCU), and refrigeration equipment. Success Criteria Develop own skill base in line with agreed appraisal, taking responsibility for increased performance, and ensuring continued self-improvement. Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence Support the team, and report to the Facility Manager Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required. Ideal Candidate Experience Standard practices of the HVAC and refrigeration trade and theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Materials, methods, and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Applicable building codes, ordinances and regulations of State and local authorities pertaining to HVAC, refrigeration, and boilers. Air compressors and pneumatic controls. Cooling tower and boiler water treatment. Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade. Welding and soldering techniques. Health and safety regulations. Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies. High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and two years of documentable HVAC journeyman level operation, maintenance and repair experience in the HVAC and refrigeration trade. Universal EPA Certification (required for HVAC) HSEQ Compliance: All employees must adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This includes following safety protocols, maintaining environmental responsibility, and upholding quality standards in all tasks.
