About The Position

The HVAC Technician assists in the daily operations of the HVAC System and the maintenance of the dry and wet fire system. This position requires working extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season, and being on call for emergency situations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Completion of HVAC Program through an accredited school
• Two to three years in boiler, chiller, and commercial air conditioning equipment
• CFC Universal required
• Basic knowledge of controls

Nice To Haves

• Ohio HVAC License
• Five to eight years of experience in boiler, chiller, and commercial air conditioning equipment required
• CFC universal required
• Familiarity of controls required
• OSHA 10-hour Training or ability to go through training
• Computer literate with Microsoft products and Trane Ensemble
• Self Starter with ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Operate low-pressure boilers, chillers, and other associated HVAC Equipment and Controls
• Perform daily rounds on equipment and record data
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on all HVAC related equipment, plus dry and wet fire system, and record PM on CMMS system
• Possess knowledge and utilize the Building Automated Controls (Trane Ensemble)
• Perform other general maintenance duties as assigned
• Respond to off-hour emergency calls
