About The Position

About the Role: As a CBRE HVAC Technician , you will play a vital role in maintaining the mechanical and electrical equipment that powers commercial HVAC systems across a large pharmaceutical facility. Your work ensures optimal performance, safety, and comfort for all building occupants. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Join the CBRE Team in providing facilities excellence at a large, 17 building, Life Science Facility with free parking and exceptional on-site dining. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • EPA Universal Certificate
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
