About The Position

The HVAC Technician at Pearce Services, LLC is responsible for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC units on cell phone towers. This role is ideal for skilled technicians looking to grow in a fast-paced environment within the telecom industry, requiring travel and on-call availability.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to comply with OSHA Standards.
• Ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly.
• Willingness to be on call and travel for work, especially during busy summer months.
• Ability to pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling units by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
• Performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance.
• Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call-outs while on-call.
• Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
• Driving to remote work sites as needed.
