Join JLL's Property Management team as a HVAC Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex mechanical and HVAC systems. This role combines technical expertise with independent problem-solving to ensure optimal building performance, safety compliance, and exceptional customer service in a dynamic facilities environment. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1st shift. Compensation: $35-38/hour, based on experience.

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and repair complex air movement and HVAC equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Analyze heating, cooling, and humidification cycles to diagnose and resolve system issues
  • Inspect, repair, and replace pumps, piping systems, valves, and components
  • Assemble, install, and test complicated mechanical equipment and assemblies
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools
  • Inspect mechanical systems to identify hazards, defects, and repair needs
  • Ensure compliance with building and safety codes
  • Advise on equipment operation safety and potential system damage risks
  • Take ownership of cross-shift issues and resolution
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance of mechanical and instrumentation systems
  • Maintain daily reports, records, and equipment readings
  • Monitor inventory and initiate requests for supplies and equipment
  • Prepare sketches and follow blueprints for equipment installation
  • Coordinate work with other technicians and departments
  • Construct and fabricate parts using tools and specifications
  • Perform pipe fitting, soldering, and brazing in multiple materials including stainless steel
  • Conduct minor building maintenance and general repairs
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years' experience with mechanical and HVAC systems
  • HVAC License for the State of Kentucky
  • Skilled in electrical and handheld diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and equipment manuals
  • Technical College or Trade Program completion
  • HVAC certification or relevant trade certifications
  • Welding abilities for piping and structural components
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of building automation systems
  • Additional trade skills (electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
  • Manufacturing or industrial facility experience
  • Leadership or mentoring experience
