Requirements

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and HVAC system installation/repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and HVAC schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions (standing, bending, climbing).
• Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and on ladders/scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and repair various types of sheet metal components, including ducts, fittings, and vents, according to project specifications.
• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements of HVAC and sheet metal systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Assemble, install, and secure HVAC ductwork, components, and sheet metal assemblies according to design and safety standards.
• Properly maintain and handle all tools and equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and sheet metal systems.
