On Saturday, March 14th, 2026, Morris-Jenkins is hosting a career fair for the trades and warehouse at our brand-new Greenville location! And this is for ALL experience levels! If you’ve never had a job in the trades and you didn’t go to school for it but you love to learn and want a job that lets you help people and work with your hands, you’d be a great fit for our HVAC Tech Builder or Build-a-Plumber programs. Build-a-Plumber starts April 27HVAC Tech Builder starts May 18 If you’re an experienced HVAC technician, plumber, or electrician, we’d also love to see you at the career fair! We’re hiring experienced HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Technicians, plus Warehouse team members for our Greenville team. And yes — we are conducting interviews and making job offers on site!! If you have experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or warehouse work, that’s awesome. If not, that’s okay, too. We’d love to hire experienced people, but we’re also looking for future pros to join our Tech Builder and Build-a-Plumber classes. These are PAID training opportunities where you’ll work with some of the best in the industry to become a full-fledged HVAC technician or plumber. You’ll train in our state-of-the-art lab, get hands-on experience, and when you graduate, you’ll step into a full-time role. For our Greenville hires joining training programs, classes will be held at our Charlotte location. Don’t worry — we’ve got you covered. Accommodations will be provided, including meals and travel expenses during the duration of the class. You focus on learning. We’ll handle the rest. We’ll be giving out job offers THAT DAY. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the person is frequently required to move about at customers’ homes inside tight crawlspaces and ascend/descend ladders lifting one’s own bodyweight through narrow entrances into attics. Must be able to identify and inspect equipment, parts, and colored wiring to safely test, repair, and install electrical connections with precise hand-eye motor skills. Individuals must be able to deadlift 90 pounds to a height of three feet or greater. This includes lifting and/or carrying materials required to fulfill the responsibilities of a drain specialist. This may include but is not limited to items such as toilets and drain cabling machines. Individuals must be able to hold and extend proper drain machines weighing at least 25 pounds for an extended time when applicable. Mental Demands: Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions, as well as deal with adversarial confrontations. Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once. Conscious attention to detail is required to safely perform tasks. Work environment: Frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and other hazards such as electrical shock, sharp objects, poisonous animals, etc. This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by company policy.
