About The Position

The HVAC Service Technician III is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Commercial HVAC systems. This role involves leading/supporting a team of technicians, managing projects, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service. Technical Skills: System Installation and Repair: Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently. Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems and components. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams Knowledge of Codes and Regulations: Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations HVAC Software: Competence in using HVAC-specific software and tools Soft Skills: Effective Communication: Clear communication with clients and team members Customer Service: Providing excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address and resolve issues. Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in all tasks to avoid errors. Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and lead a team when necessary. Additional Skills: Project Management: Managing projects from start to finish, including budgeting and scheduling. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial experience in HVAC service, Trouble shooting and PM's / maintenance service agreements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems preferred.
  • Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., EPA certification) are highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using HVAC software.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening (including a criminal background check, drug test, and MVR).

Responsibilities

  • Candidate will service clients in the local market
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems efficiently.
  • Oversee HVAC projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance and support.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and providing excellent service.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of service and installation activities.
