About The Position

Join TURBOCAM as an HVAC Technician! At TURBOCAM, you won’t just maintain systems—you’ll help keep our world-class manufacturing facilities running smoothly. As part of our Facilities Team, you’ll install, maintain, and optimize commercial-level heating, cooling, and ventilation systems that ensure a safe and productive environment for our people. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; HVAC certification or Associate’s degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as an HVAC technician (commercial facility experience ideal).
  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and maintenance software (Epicor a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills—able to explain technical issues clearly to internal teams and contractors.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Physical ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to support off-hours emergency needs.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
  • Inspect existing HVAC systems for performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Perform and track preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and extend equipment life.
  • Run performance tests to ensure peak efficiency.
  • Diagnose issues, complete timely repairs, and verify effective fixes.
  • Maintain accurate records of HVAC equipment, resources, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (including OSHA).
  • Provide support for emergency repairs, including participation in the on-call team.
  • Partner with teammates and contractors to deliver projects on time and at a high standard.
