HVAC Technician - Building Maintenance - 7am-3:30pm

The HVAC Technician is responsible for providing all forms of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance in a safe, professional manner employing all current acceptable practices. Conscious of extra precautions when working in patient care areas and specifically, keep tools out of reach of children.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance, repair, calibration, fabrication and installation of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and manual controls on all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment in the facilities.
• Performs necessary installation, repair, and maintenance services to assure continuous operation of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Operates building automation system computers and equipment to control pumps, fans, motors, dampers and related equipment to supply proper indoor air temperature and volume.
• General knowledge of plumbing, and general maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC or Refrigeration Control Trade or Vo-Tech school preferred.
• Refrigeration certification beneficial.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Must maintain a good driving record.
