As an HVAC Technician with JLL, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining critical building systems that ensure optimal comfort and operational efficiency for our clients. This technical role combines hands-on expertise with advanced diagnostic skills to keep complex HVAC systems running at peak performance. Working under the guidance of the Chief Engineer, you'll monitor sophisticated building automation systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues before they impact building operations. Your technical proficiency and attention to detail directly support JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility management services and maintaining comfortable, energy-efficient environments.

  • Monitor and operate HVAC systems including boilers, chillers, RTUs, and building automation systems
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on plant equipment with meticulous attention to detail
  • Troubleshoot utility system equipment using diagnostic tools and computer-based monitoring systems
  • Conduct chemical analysis and water treatment system maintenance to optimize system performance
  • Complete work order documentation, maintain accurate records, and update system status in real-time
  • Research and order supplies and equipment parts to support ongoing maintenance operations
  • Maintain assigned areas of responsibility while collaborating closely with the Chief Engineer
  • High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of related HVAC experience
  • Working knowledge of boiler systems, chilled water systems, and rooftop units (RTUs)
  • Ability to understand and operate diagnostic equipment and computer-based building systems
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with heavier equipment handling tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under close supervision
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts as operational needs require
  • Basic computer skills for system monitoring and documentation
  • EPA certification for refrigerant handling
  • Experience with building automation systems and alarm monitoring
  • Knowledge of water treatment systems and chemical analysis procedures
  • Familiarity with HVAC troubleshooting and repair techniques
  • Previous experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and system schematics
