About The Position

An HVAC Teadown (I) at our Lennox AES location in Wheeling, WV is responsible for the safe and efficient recovery and reclamation of parts from HVAC systems. They play a crucial role in environmental sustainability by ensuring the proper handling, recycling, and disposal of HVAC components, in compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust/oil.
Able to use hand and power tools, including metal cutting saws.
Works with a positive attitude and is a team player.
Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Able to handle and sort different materials.
Previous manufacturing or construction experience.
Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Basic Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and their environmental impact preferred

Responsibilities

Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and thorough recovery.
Handle and sort materials through the reclaim process.
Identify and address any potential issues with the equipment during the recovery process.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in all reclaim activities.
Cross train and help in other areas depending on workload.
